Every woman has her fantasyland. We have had them since we were little girls. We hide them in the depths of our souls. We dream of a hero, a knight in shining armor coming in to sweep us up and take us away. We dream of making wild passionate love. Oh don't even roll your eyes at me like that you know you have done it too.
There was this woman, a wife and a mother. Children grown, and she was now a grandmother. Her marriage was a good one; she was happy and content. But, deep inside she still had this secret wild adventurous nature that kept her going to this dreamland where she could unleash her inner desires.
She and her husband lived in a small country village. He worked evenings and came home in the early hours of the morning, so she had those long restless nights with just an empty bed and her head full of dreams.
She loved movies and often she and a friend would go to the city, where she would get her fill of swashbuckling romantic movies that would rekindle the fantasies. A while back, they had seen an incredible movie called The Mask of Zorro. Oh my, this movie was the most wonderful thing she had ever seen. It had everything a woman could want. The Zorro story was well known to all, but somehow this one was the best she had ever seen. The story of a young hero in the making, mentored by the departing hero wishing to pass down the gauntlet and live his life with his estranged daughter - stolen by his mortal enemy. The young hero was played by the most gorgeous, sexy, romantic man she had ever seen on the big screen. He was every woman's dream. She left the movies with her head in the clouds and already running the dreamland movie in her head. This would be the object of her dreams for many nights to come.
As she laid in her bed staring out her window she would begin to fall asleep. She would nestle down with the cool breeze brushing her face, under a cover of the country stars that would fill the sky. Drifting, she would imagine how her masked man Zorro would ride up to her window and she would crawl out on to his dazzling black horse Tornado and they would ride off to some secret place in the hills. As they rode she would ask him to tell her stories of his days and she would savor ever word and the excitement of the adventures. They would ride for hours until they reached his secret cave surrounded by the beauty of nature and silence. They would lie in each other's arms on the ground next to a campfire that he would build. They gazed into each other's eyes and all consciousness of the outer world would pass away. The flickering flame of the campfire would cower to the heat that was building inside of each of them. He would lay her back gently and with a swish of his cape he would swallow the length of her body. They would remove the others clothing button by button, slowly to savor the moment. He would begin to make love to her in a sweet and gentle way, yet taking her in the manner that she desired. With a slow and methodic rhythm of their bodies pounding like the beat of a native drum their arousal would rise. The sound of the drum growing stronger and louder the beat moving faster and faster until suddenly they would explode into a harmony reaching the peak of their experiences together.
Oh how she hated to return to the place he first came to call on her, but return she must back to her cold lonely bed under the stars out her window. She would save him for her dreams and each night he would return to her and they would once again ride off to that secret place.
Each morning she would wake up and the dreams would seem so real. This morning would begin with the surprise of her life. She heard a noise; startled, she sat up in bed. She noticed it was 4 a.m.; her husband was usually home by then, but was not next to her as usual. What she did notice was a note on the nightstand that read "Querida Mia, I am waiting just outside your window; come with me and I will take you to our special place." She rubbed her eyes in disbelief. What has happened? Was she still sleeping? Had she gone crazy and crossed over, making her dreams becoming reality? Not knowing for sure she looked outside her window. There stood a masked man with his arms held out to her, encouraging her to climb through the window into his arms. As she did, she heard him say in her husbands voice, "Te adoro mi carina, I have come to take you away and to make your dreams come true."
