The following day I turned in my assignment and picked up my check. I left the office and headed back towards the house. When I arrived I went inside and changed by clothes. When walked into the living room the doorbell rang. I answered the door.
"Hello, you two," I said.
"Are you ready to go?" Max asked.
"I will be in a few minutes. Come on in."
Max and Francisco came in and Max closed the door behind them. We walked into the living room and they sat down while I went into the kitchen.
"What are you doing in there?" Francisco asked.
"I'm drinking some juice, I'll be right out," I said.
I put the glass in the sink and walked into the living room.
"Okay I'm ready. Whose car are we taking?"
"We can take mine," Max said.
"Okay, then you can drive."
"Let's go, then," Francisco said.
We left the house and drove to the Land of the Mouse. We paid for our tickets and went inside. We ran from ride to ride and had the best time that three adults could possibly have. Some of the people looked at us strangely because we were acting like kids, but we didn't care. We stopped at one point to eat and while we sat at the one of the outdoor tables Francisco and Max started throwing french fries at each other. Once again the people around us looked strangely at us.
"Will you two knock it off! The people are going to start saying that I have a strange set of twins!" I said.
"Well, he started it!" Max said.
"I did not!" Francisco answered.
"I don't care who started it, now clean this mess up now before they throw us out of the park."
They looked at each other and started cleaning up their mess. The people around us started applauding when they started cleaning. When they finished cleaning we left and continued on our adventures.
"Now what do you want to do?" Max asked.
"Why don't we go to the pirate ride?" I said.
"The pirate ride?" Francisco asked.
"It's a great ride, let's go," Max said.
We arrived at the ride, we got on the boat and our adventure began. I looked at Francisco who having a great time, at one point during the ride when the boat went down one of the downward slopes Francisco grabbed my hand and held it tightly. We looked at each other and smiled. As we walked through the park we had a great time.
"Anyone want a soda?" Max said.
"I do," I said.
"I could go for one," Francisco said.
We walked over to one of the stands and once Max saw that they sold hot dogs he knew he had to have one.
"Hot Dogs!! I gotta have one," Max said.
"He has been eating ever since we got here," Francisco said.
"I don't know where he puts it all?" I said.
We walked to a shooting gallery that was in Frontier Land and the competition was on between Max and Francisco. I laughed at the sight of two grown men acting like kids, but I was having the time of my life. When the completion was over Max was the winner of a bear on a key chain and he held in front of Francisco's face in victory.
"I beat you Francisco! Haha!" Max exclaimed.
"I hate a gracious winner, don't you, Andie?"
"I know what you mean," I said.
"Let's go to the mansion," Max said.
"The mansion?" Francisco asked.
"Yes the mansion, some say that it's haunted. You scared, Francisco?"
"Me? Scared."
"Well why you two discuss the issue. I'm going to go and stand in line," I said.
I started walking toward the next ride while they still kidded each other. We finally made it into the Mansion and ride began. Since it's hard to fit three adults into one of the travel cars inside the ride so Max decided to go alone, while Francisco and I went together. I watched Francisco as the ride continued and he laughed and was having fun just like any kid would his first time to this place. I forgot about some of the figures that pop up from behind the tombstones, when all of a sudden one of the figures popped up and took me by surprise and without thinking I screamed and jumped into Francisco's arms, he held me tightly while I buried my face in his chest. When I finally realized what I was doing I pulled back and looked into his eyes. He gently touched my cheek and smiled.
"Are you okay, Chata?"
"Yes, but I feel like an idiot."
"Why?"
"Because I jumped into your arms like a little kid. I'm sorry."
"Don't be. To tell you the truth I've been waiting to hold you in my arms."
He moved his face closer to mine.
"You have?"
"Yes."
He gently kissed me. His kiss was hot and sensual and I wanted more, but I knew I couldn't let on that he was getting me all hot and bothered. I pulled back and looked at him.
"Have I gone too far by kissing you?" he asked.
"No, you haven't."
"Then you wouldn't mind if I did it again?"
In my mind I thought 'Mind? I'd be crazy to say that I would mind!' I smiled at him.
"No I wouldn't mind."
He took me in his arms again and kissed me more passionately. I felt like I was melting with the kisses that he was giving me. He started kissing my neck and it was starting to drive me crazy. I knew that we had to stop before we went too far and also before the ride stopped. I pulled back.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
"We have to stop."
"Why?"
"Because the ride is almost over."
He smiled.
"Oh," he said.
The ride came to an end and we got off. We got a few more rides and then headed down Main Street to do some shopping before we left. We went into quite a few shops and looked around and Francisco bought a few things. As we walked to the exit Max noticed the shop called The Mad Hatter where of course they sold the famous Mickey Mouse ears. He dragged us into the shop and bought us each a pair of ears.
"I feel silly," I said.
"Well, you look silly," Max said.
"We all do," Francisco said.
We started laughing.
"We have to do one more thing before we leave so we can remember this day," Max said.
"What?" I said.
"We need to take a picture of the three of us."
Francisco and I looked at each other.
"Do we have too?" I asked.
"Yes we have to or I'll bitch about all the way home."
"Damn, let's take a picture because I don't want to hear him bitch."
We found a photographer and we took a picture of the three of us with the stupid mouse ears on. We laughed when we saw the picture.
"Happy now, Max?" I asked.
"Yes, we can go home now," Max said.
"I don't think I will ever forget this day," Francisco said.
"Me either," I said.
Francisco put his arm around my shoulders and we left the park and headed home.
